January 6th

🏋️‍♀️January 6th 2020: This week we are going to look at how free will works in our life! Many people believe that we do not have free will when we are in Christ, so let’s start by being clear on that!🙋‍♀️ We all have free will, and we always will have! We are completely free every single day to choose and be in control of how we live our life, the thoughts we think, how we treat others, what we love, hate, worship, adore or reject! The whole shebang is up to us completely!🙆‍♀️ God does not MAKE us do anything, He does not trick or manipulate our lives so we do what He wants, He does not ignore our free will in any shape or form! If God did not require free will in us, there would be no sin, no flesh, no darkness, no learning, no grace needed, no relationship with Him because we would do everything correctly because He made us do it!🤦‍♀️ Now, is there divine purpose? His preferences? His perfect will? His plan? Yes of course there is! But how we live this is the important part, and we are going to look at this in detail this week! The first point I want to make, is that we are in complete control of ourselves! We drive the vessel, we allow or reject what happens to us, we manage our faculties and unless you are demon possessed or severely mentally incapable, nothing has control over you and makes you do, say, think or live things you don’t want!🙅‍♀️ We are designed to live a conscious, careful, controlled life where we are present and aware constantly of ourselves. In Christ, we are completely equipped to have wisdom, understanding, prophetic insight, conviction and knowing by the presence of the holy spirit within us. He let’s us know the preferences of God in any situation, but we still have free will what to do about it. Today, as we start this journey, think about who drives your vessel. Are you in complete control or do you let the vessel drift into uncharted waters and have to save yourself regularly?  Let’s thank Him for our free will and ask Him to sharpen that understanding in us as we travel into the future! #noonemadeyoudoit!🤦‍♀️ #Iaminchargeofme!🦸‍♀️
